Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with 5.5in screen launching in August?
5.3in screen not quite doing it for you? Is your smartphone getting lost in the folds of your gigantic man hands? We could have some good news for you
If the 5.3in Samsung Galaxy Note feels a little dainty for your ham-like hands, then you’ll be excited to hear that the 5.5in Galaxy Note 2 is now expected to be revealed at the IFA consumer electronics trade show in August, according to MK Business News.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is expected to have a quad-core processor which will hopefully be powering Android Jelly Bean, in addition to a 12MP camera.
However, the unbreakable plane display (UBP) which was also rumoured to be featured in the Note 2 will likely be missing and will be saved for a future handset – a second Galaxy Nexus, perhaps?
Either way it’s exciting stuff and promising news for shovel-handed gadgeteers who can’t get enough display space to satisfy their insatiable pixel lust.
