Samsung plotting WinMo 6.5 Armani phone

However, it seems Samsung is plotting yet another version, this time packing Windows Mobile 6.5. The new OS, shown off officially at MWC last week, might seem to hamper Sammy’s quest for cool points, but it’s slick and is ideal for touchscreens too.

According to the chaps at Unwired View, we’ll be seeing something by the end of 2009, with a full–on touchscreen model most likely to hit the shelves.

Samsung will be desperate to keep up with its Koreans rivals, LG, who are not only doing well with their Prada hook–ups, but also looking to cash–in on a lucrative deal with Microsoft and Windows Mobile.
