Spotify app hits BlackBerry

Music streaming service now available on all RIM devices running BB 5 and above

Until now, Spotify has only been available on a handful of BlackBerry phones, but the times, they are a-changin’ – and as of today it’s out for any handset running BB 5 OS and above. Point your web browser at BlackBerry App World and download it, why don’t you?

As with all of Spotify’s smartphone apps it does require you to be a subscriber to Spotify Premium (£9.99 a month), although there’s a 48-hour free trail available to new users.

The app lets you listen to millions of tracks, create and sync playlists, cache music for offline listening and scrobble your listens to Last.fm.
