Ok, it’s not quite a whole new console, but the updated Xbox 360 dashboard, first shown off at games powwow E3 in LA, is set to give the Microsoft hub a neat new look.

And now you can get in on the act and give it a try. The Big M has stuck a special version online, so you can take avatar creation and tons of other neat new tricks for a spin well ahead of release.

There’s no word on when it’ll land on the 360 sadly. Still, let us know what you make of it in the comments section.
