WebOS devices to get cloud-based music service
So that’s what music synergy means. Got it.
An (ironically) confidential powerpoint slide has spilled details on an HP’s, cloud based music/movie store, which boasts ‘intelligent synching’ – a handy feature which can determine your favourite media and cache it for offline viewing.
The TouchPad is the platform of choice, which will also allow you to stream music that you have yet to own. Devices such as the Pre 3 are also expected to play nice with the new service, once they’re upgraded to webOS 3.0.
With Amazon, Apple and Google all churning away at cloud-based music services, expect some fierce competition and spilt blood amongst those virtual clouds in the very near future.
