The Xbox One fightback starts on 11 February with a bug-fixing update

It might be down again the PS4, but it ain’t beaten. Microsoft has revealed that the Xbox One will be receiving a system update on 11 February which should address some niggles that gamers have had with the console.

The update will offer stability and behind-the-scenes improvements for developers, as well as tweaks to Kinect’s voice recognition so that commands become more fluid and responsive over time.

More noticeable changes include the ability to view and manage your storage space, as well as prioritising games and apps into separate lists so that you can re-arrange which content is downloaded first.

Other additions include an Xbox One controller battery indicator and USB keyboard compatibility.

Microsoft has promised to reveal more details of the 11 February update nearer its launch, and has teased us with details of a 4 March update which will offer improvements to Xbox Live’s party and multiplayer system in preparation for Titanfall.
