LG 32LX2R review

LG really wants to take on the big boys in Telly World – and sets like this will help it get there. It’s a little chunky but the glossy black styling and tech-heavy spec give it a healthy on-shelf glow.

For the price, this is a belter. Motion is handled confidently, there’s very little image noise and colours are vivid. We’d like more black depth and greater three-dimensionality but we’re picky.

Although ther are better sets out there, with S-Video, 2xScart (1 RGB), HDMI and DVI connections and 2x10w speaker power, it’s hard to beat this LG for its all-round value
