Future Nokia phones will let you focus after taking photos
If you thought the Nokia 808 PureView was impressive, think again. Nokia has some fancy new cam tech coming our way...
Nokia is looking to invest in California startup Pelican Imaging, a company which specialises in array camera technology with multiple small lenses.
The small lenses combine to create a large picture, letting you focus and refocus on different areas of the image after the photo has been taken – much like you can with the Lytro.
Unlike the Lytro though, this tech will happily fit into a smartphone – and we can’t wait to see what the imaging gurus at Nokia come up with. If the Nokia 808 PureView is any indication of what Nokia can do with fancy imaging tech, we should all be very excited…
