Manfrotto Tripod review
A good tripod is an essential for any camera bag, and Manfrotto's effort is more versatile and portable than most.
Anti-shake technology can only do so much – for a smooth video or pin-sharp still, you’ll need to anchor your camera with a tripod. The world is awash with budget stands which have cheapo plastic feet or are too light, but this Manfrotto number is solid, dependable and very portable.
The 714SHB digi-tripod is compact enough to carry around, yet manages to be more than rigid enough for even mid-sized compacts. Unless you own a monster SLR, this is an essential addition to your camera bag.
