Navman iCN 320 review

The baby of the Navman family is a bland looking affair, with one of the smallest displays around.

Still, it’s ready to motor out of the box; the initial set-up is very simple indeed, with up-to-date UK maps uploaded to an SD card ready and awaiting your first journey.

The system also holds your hand reassuringly and, unlike many other sat-navs on the market, frequently gives instructions such as ‘bear right’, nudging us softly in the right direction.

As for getting around, it’s pretty sharp: route planning and re-routing are quick. When we had to divert round a street market the iCN 320 did it immediately, directing us along the official diversion.

Although the iCN 320 lacks a touchscreen, its buttons are very proddable and the location entry is far speedier than we had anticipated.

All in all it’s cut down and pared back but it got us where we wanted to go efficiently.
