LG Optimus L7 goes on sale in the UK
It might not rival the Galaxy S3 for grunt or features but LG's new mid-ranger looks good and won't break the bank
You might have noticed LG’s new Optimus L series gracing the ad-space of every bus stop in your town – and what more glamorous place is there to advertise the Korean gadget giant’s new style phones?
If the LG Optimus range got you all giddy, you’re in luck as the L7 is now on sale in the UK, available in white and black and priced at a very reasonable £330 SIM-free from Phones 4u.
Taking a cue from the recent LG Prada Phone 3.0, the LG Optimus L7 is the biggest of the bunch (which also includes the L3 and L5). It’s slim at less than 9mm thick and the 4.3in NOVA display is beautifully bright, though annoyingly it isn’t HD.
Other L7 goodies include Android Ice Cream Sandwich and a 5MP rear camera with LED flash but the 1GHz Cortex A5 chip won’t exactly set spec-geeks running in this smartphone’s direction. Check out our hands on review of the LG Optimus L7 from this year’s Mobile World Congress before you take the plunge.
