When Samsung released their new NC10 netbook a few weeks back, we couldn’t help feeling they’d missed a trick with the price. Tosh’s NB100 was due to cost just £260, with Sammy’s version coming in at £329.

Well, it looks like the Koreans have sat up and taken notice. They’ve just fired word over that they’re slashing the price to just £299. Still pricier than the Tosh, but a darn sight better than before.

Obviously the specs remain unchanged, with an Intel Atom processor, up to 160GB HDD and a six cell battery for longer life. We can only assume you’re paying more for this thanks to the anti–bacterial keyboard.

It’s coming out this month and we’ll be getting ours soon, so keep it locked for hands-on video and a full review soon. Gem up on netbooks in our how to buy feature while you wait.
