Gadget of the Day – Logitech Squeezebox Boom

Logitech’s latest in its Squeezebox lineup is an all-in-one networked music solution. The Boom is a compact unit that houses an amplifier and speakers, letting you stream music to any room in your home, no fuss.

Connection speeds are ample with 802.11g wireless on board, and setup simple with its network configuration wizard. As the name suggests, the sound shouldn’t be too shabby either, with bi-amped 3-inch woofers and 3/4-inch tweeters keeping it sounding sweet.

Add to that an auto-dimming display and 7 day alarm clock, as well as a remote control and you’ve got yourself an attractive looking package.
